Paper Title
Optimization in Design of Subsea Mudmat Foundation Structure

Abstract
Large subsea structures and equipment on the seabed provide the necessary stability, protection and accommodation for subsea facilities to allow for continuous hydrocarbon and other content exploitation. The current subsea structures are supported by shallow foundations in the form of mud mats to generate sufficient foundation capacity at seabed. The large surface area of the foundation limits the installation capabilities of the structure in rough sea situations, thus causing the challenging situations for designing subsea foundation structures.
