Paper Title
Artificial Intelligence in Mechanical Engineering

Abstract
Abstract - Challenges that have a complex nature and require a variety of approaches can be addressed and solved utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI). It has an advantage over conventional approaches that are ineffective or unfeasible when applied to real-world problems. It is evident that AI methodologies and algorithms are robust for tackling a wide range of complex mathematical problems those enthrall large amount of time in various engineering disciplines. In the present work, an effort has been made to explore the opportunities of applications of AI in diversified fields of mechanical engineering in phase with advancements of computer technology. The work is accomplished by carrying out an extensive review of research articles and the information has been organized systematically to benefit the researchers with better approaches. This can be proven with improvement of productivity in the fields of design, analysis and manufacturing with the usage of AI. Several optimization tools are used by AI for creating better amendments to the Computer Aided Design (CAD). These tools can be used to incorporate artificial neural networks (ANN) to design the CAD models. It is further seen that these neural networks can be used to describe stress-strain behavior of different complex structures, monitor vibrations, and diagnose faults. Manufacturing technology uses artificial intelligence models such as decision trees, neural networks, multi-layer perceptrons, and K-means clustering algorithms for improving selection of materials and various manufacturing processes. It is evident from the existing research works, there is an enormous potential for AI to improve further in the area of mechanical engineering by providing a way out for an existing challenge with unique approaches.
