Digital Technology Enabled Human Resource Management
Abstract
The technology driven work initiated after recent pandemic has changed the conventional way of work. It
initiated innovative way of work supported with technology but at the same time posing challenges to adopt it completely.
The present paper explores the impact of technology on Human resource management practices in an Indian manufacturing
organization. The qualitative study has been conducted using a case study approach. It included in-depth interview of diverse
group of employees in the organization and analysis of secondary data. The research findings have brought out the evolution
of digital Human Resources Management accelerated with Covid-19 pandemic and its long-term impact on the organization
and the employees. The findings indicate that technology adoption in the area of Human Resources Management is able to
inculcate agile and work driven work culture. It also indicates there are challenges which need human resources management
intervention.
