Paper Title
Laser Ablation Based Sio2@Ag Np Production and Investigation of Nonlinear Optical Properties

Abstract
Within the scope of this study, the production of SiO2 and Ag nanoparticles, which are the most commonly used materials in semiconductor technology, has been carried out by laser ablation technique using femtosecond laser beam at 800 nm wavelength. Linear and nonlinear optical processes for Ag, SiO2 and SiO2@Ag nanoparticles have been produced and analysed using fs laser z-scan technique and UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, respectively. After SiO2 nanoparticle has been produced in ethanol, Ag doping has been carried out at different rates of 5% wt and 10% wt. FTIR spectroscopy analysis has been performed for SiO2@Ag 10% wt obtained. Nonlinear refractive indexes of these nanoparticles have shown self-focusing behaviours due to the data gathered from closed aperture detector while data got from open aperture detector represents reverse saturable absorption trend in 23.76 x 1010 W/cm2 laser intensity. The nonlinear absorption coefficients (β) have measured ~10-14 cm/W for NPs. Keywords - Femtosecond Laser, Nanoparticle Production, Nonlinear Optic, Sio2, Ag
