Abstract
The paper analyzes the role of social media in human resources management, one of the prerequisites for the
company's dynamic development and maintaining competitiveness is the management of human resources with modern
approaches and methods. Recruiting through social media is a quick, easy, and budget-friendly method of selecting and
recruiting the same employees for business success. In the modern period, in the background of Internetization, transition to
the digital age and the development of social media, human resource management approaches and channel use have
changed. As statistical data shows, today the world's largest companies use social media for recruiting and managing human
resources. The paper presents the world's largest companies that achieve success in managing human resources using social
media, as well as an example of a company with best practices in Georgia. In modern HR trends, the enhanced hiring process
and recruiting takes an important place, that is why it is important to develop methods for its proper implementation.
