CFD Analysis On A Savonius Rotor Wind Turbine Made Using Mild Steel Material
Wind energy being a renewable form of energy has become very important taking the over exploited use of
conventional sources of energy into consideration. A wind turbine helps in extraction of electrical energy from this
renewable source. This work is an effort to prove that mild steel material can be used to make such wind turbines which
provide strength as well as desired output. The Aspect ratio and Overlap ratio are taken appropriately whose values are
mentioned. The design is done in CREO 2.0. The Computational Fluid dynamics analysis is performed in ANSYS 15.0.
