Active Vibration Control Of Plate Using Fuzzy Logic
A cantilevered square plate instrumented with a piezoelectric sensor patch and a piezoelectric actuator patch is
considered. First and second modal displacements of the plate have been controlled using IMSC and by using fuzzy logic
based IMSC. It has been observed that using lesser peak voltages, fuzzy logic based IMSC is able to suppress first modal
displacement of beam more than that done by simple IMSC. Also, for same peak voltage, fuzzy logic based control is able
to control second mode more than that done by IMSC.
