Analytical Investigations to Determine Damping Capacity in Multi Layered Bolted Beam
In this thesis, the damping characteristics of multi layered beam and solid beam is determined which are
influenced by the intensity of pressure distribution are be analytically investigated. 3D modeling is done in Creo. Static,
Modal and Random Vibration analysis is done on solid and multi layered and bolted beams to determine stresses,
deformations from static analysis, frequencies from modal analysis, directional deformations and shear stresses from
Random vibration analysis and compared. Theoretical calculations are done to determine damping ratio taking deformation
and frequency values from analysis.
