Abstract : The Riveting is the process of joining to metals for making assembly of any component. In aerospace riveting has
very much important as it is very much precise process and gives beater results for the joining process. Currently riveting is
performed manually at Godrej Aerospace Division which is somewhat time consuming hence it will affect the productivity
of the process. Hence our aim is to automate the existing riveting process godrej by using suitable automation components as
PLC, Guide ways, ball screw, servo motor, X & Y table. The Increasing Improvement of Indian Manufacturing department
depends highly on it is the Increases Productivity and Quality. One of the best ways to improve productivity with quality is
to use special purpose machines.
