Abstract : In this paper, firstly, the geometric model for a new design of concentration based solar distiller is developed with SolidWorks software. Then, it is compared without the solar concentration system and the thermal performance of the new system is investigated and theoretically analyzed with water mass difference (20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 kg). Works was performed to evaluate the temperatures, productivity and efficiency of a new design of concentrated based solar distiller. Our goal is to analyze the thermal performance of the new device to use in the Morocco's Rabat-Sale-Kenitra region and to obtain high productivity of fresh water. Numerical resolution of the energy balance equations was performed using a MATLAB code. The results show that a new design of concentration based solar distiller gives a higher thermal and productivity. Also, it was found that the lower mass of water to be desalinated gets on the maximum productivity.
