Estimation Of Frequency For A Composite Satellite Antenna Reflector
Abstract
Estimation of frequency for a typical Satellite Antenna Reflector made of Composite materials involves design and
analysis of the antenna reflector for stowed and deployed modes. For obtaining the respective modes, designing of an antenna
reflector is required. This design includes selection, creation of geometry for antenna dish and stiffeners, and material
selection of antenna dish and stiffeners. For frequency estimation, the obtained frequencies are to be met with the project
requirements and thereafter the natures of modes are studied. Reduction of mass is an important parameter for obtaining
better frequency and satisfaction of project requirements.
