VYOM - Microuav for Delivery of Supplies to Target Areas
Abstract - The primary objective of this study is to design a fixed wing aircraft that would carry a sizeable amount of payload and be mission-ready at short notice. The design was optimized towards achieving high aerodynamic efficiency, stability, structural integrity, and time efficient assembly in tandem with pursuing the lowest possible empty weight.This paper entails the process of designing a fixed-wing UAV, followed by a detailed flight performance evaluation, aerodynamic analysis, and a rigorous static and dynamic stability analyses carried out using the XFLR-5 software. It also highlights the need for innovation in conventional aircraft design congruous with the mission requirements.
