Paper Title
Determination of Effect of in-Wheel Electric Motors Mass on the Active Suspension System Performance
Abstract
In this thesis, the effect of in-wheel electric motors mass on the active suspension system performance is
determined analytically. The active suspension system without in-wheel electric motors and with in-wheel electric motors
will be modeled in 3D modeling software Creo 2.0. Analytical investigations are made on both the systems by applying the
control force, mass of the car with passengers in it for two materials Stainless Steel and Low Carbon Steel. Static, Modal
analyses and Random Vibrational analysis is done in Ansys to determine stresses, deformations and frequencies.
