Paper Title
Optimisation of the Minimum Quantity of Lubrication Required for Efficient working of Press Forging

Abstract
This project is based on Tribology. This work consists of analysis and optimization of quantity of lubrication provided between sheet metal and the diein press forging process. This project involves several analyses of press forging process of a simple product with different oil film thickness. Several comparisons are made between shear stress developed, deformation, and maximum principal strain for different oil film thickness cases. Output of the research work indicates that by applying optimum lubrication quantity will reduce the wear of punch and die and hence increase the tool life. Keywords - Tribology, Optimization, FEA, explicit dynamics.
