Abstract : Abstract - Following the path of international environmental practices aiming to reduce the impact of production process on air, water and soilquality, this article is an exploration ofindustrialcompanies’contribution in the protection of the environment and the reduction of theirimpact on industrial practice. In order to explore the commitment of Moroccancompanies to this objective, weused a sample of 109 Moroccan industrial companies to assess the correlationbetween the state'spolicies in terms of sustainabledevelopment and the environmental actions undertaken by thesecompanies. This article isthereforeintended to be an outlinebetweenwhatisplanned in terms of environmental performance and the real practices exercisedin the industrialprocesses.
