Abstract : This paper proposed improving mechanism of the aircraft of two rotor system by understanding the basic
characteristics of the aircraft and conducting experiments of structure of the two rotor device and a P control input thrust bias
shifter was proposed. Multi rotor system is now widely used in any place of the world, and many applications would be
dramatically increasing. On the other hand, there is many unknown factor of stable flight control of the multi-rotor system.
To research the basic performance of the multi-rotor system, we developed simple two rotor machine with the reduced
freedom of movement due to the central pole or fishing line. As experiment, an altitude control during the target altitude
changing with the horizontal attitude control was performed. When the target altitude is changed square fashion, we
proposed a thrust bias shifting method to reduce the output of P controller significant change. In addition, we confirmed the
structural change of the two rotor system by changing the rotor tilt angle and weight position changing through the
experiments. Result said that the rotor tilt angle was good at -15 deg from the horizontal, and the load or battery weight
would be good positioned at the close to the motor parts. Some of the result would improve the two-rotor system control and
stability performance.
