Abstract : This study focuses on the fabrication and performance testing of a cross-flow turbine with variable flow rates. The
objectives were to fabricate and perform a turbine prototype using cost-effective materials and to evaluate its performance
under varying flow rates. The fabrication process involved selecting appropriate materials, machining components, and
assembling the turbine according to design specifications. The performance test was conducted in a controlled laboratory
environment, where the turbine was subjected to different flow rates to measure its power output and efficiency. The results
indicated that the fabricated turbine achieved satisfactory performance, with efficiency ranging from 70% to 85% across the
tested flow rates. Additionally, the turbine demonstrated stable operation and robustness under varying flow conditions. In
conclusion, the study successfully fabricated a cross-flow turbine prototype and validated its performance through
experimental testing.
