Abstract : The energy demand is rapidly increasing globally in daily life while the source of energy is limited. So, High conversion efficiency renewable power sources are sought for in today's society. Thus, the term maximum power point tracking (MPPT) was coined to describe the very efficient method of capturing green energy. PV solar power with MPPT techniques is now widely available worldwide, making it the most abundant renewable energy source. The main worry, based on these MPPT methodologies, is the requirement of various hardware components and their placement for optimal outcomes, including the boost controller. The purpose of this review is to understand why boost controllers are used in photovoltaic (PV) solar energy production systems that are engineered for various current advancement algorithms (traditional, artificial intelligence, and optimization) and present some controller outcomes in PV solar generation system. To validate the employment of boost controllers, a quantitative and qualitative investigation of a few benchmark MPPT techniques is conducted and compared for techniques outcomes. Following a review of several solar energy producing systems, controller outcomes are also drawn. It is astonishing how much more collected power boost controllers can produce in a photovoltaic solar energy production system. Keywords - Photovoltaic system; MPPT techniques; renewable energy harvesting; simulation; boost controller
