Paper Title :
Utilization of E-Waste in Concrete without Affecting Strength

Author :Thilakan T.B., P. S. Sreejith

Article Citation :Thilakan T.B. ,P. S. Sreejith , (2019 ) " Utilization of E-Waste in Concrete without Affecting Strength " , International Journal of Mechanical and Production Engineering (IJMPE) , pp. 35-37, Volume-7,Issue-9

Abstract : Environmental problems occur when the rate of extraction of aggregates exceeds the rate of generation of resources. Improper disposal of E – waste can cause serious threats to human health and environment. An alternative source is essential to replace the materials used in concrete. Disposal of bulk quantity of E-waste can be achieved by using it in concrete industry. This paper attempts the possibility of using the E-waste in concrete to replace the coarse aggregates. Efforts have been made in the concrete industry to use non biodegradable components of E-waste as a partial replacements of the aggregates. Keywords – E-Waste, Mechanical Properties, Concrete, Aggregates, Compressive Strength.
