Abstract : Abstract - The axial flow fans are widely used for providing the required airflow for heat and mass transfer operations in various industrial equipment and processes. Due dimensional instability of metallic impellers now a day’s fan blades are fabricated with glass fiber reinforced plastics (FRP). To reduce the after effects of FRP blades on the environment necessitates the use partial reinforcement of natural fibers in FRP blades. This paper deals with the analysis of FRP blade material with partial jute layer reinforcements and estimation mechanical properties like tensile strength, bending strength by using ANSYS.
