Abstract : In this study, the effect of crack geometry and crack locations on the stress intensity factors of the semi-elliptical surface cracks present on the horizontal type pressure vessel were investigated. Unsymmetric boundary conditions were applied to create a real environment. The highest stress concentration area observed at the intersection of left-hand side nozzle-cylinder. It was also observed that the crack present at location 2(on the top of PV) were more dangerous than other location. Keywords - Keywords: Pressure vessel. Fracture Mechnics, Finite Element Analysis
