Article Citation :Yaellivneh ,Yael Dubinsky , (2023 ) " Termi App to Cope with Trilingualism in Higher Education: A Case Study " , International Journal of Management and Applied Science (IJMAS) , pp. 4-10, Volume-9,Issue-11

Abstract : This paper presents the development and validation of the Termi mobile app to cope with trilingualism in higher education, using the case of the Kinneret Academic College on the Sea of Galilee. Many Israeli citizens are Jewish, and Hebrew is their native language. A significant Arab minority lives in Israel, and Arabic is their native language. In addition, English is the lingua franca of the global academic community. Further, to be competitive in the job market, Israeli students are increasingly expected to be proficient in English. This study examined the use of the Termi mobile app, which was designed and developed to provide a smooth transition among these three languages while learning. The learning content includes relevant terms that students need in their disciplines. The learning content is presented by brief and extended descriptions of terms and various games in which students practice the terms. Preliminary results emphasize the need for such smooth transitions and reveal different types of use behaviors. Keywords - Trilingualism, Higher Education, Diverse Environment, Mobile App
