Article Citation :Roberto Rabbini , (2024 ) " The Benefits of Toastmasters International and The Partial Integration of its System into EFL Tertiary Contexts in Japan " , International Journal of Management and Applied Science (IJMAS) , pp. 1-3, Volume-10,Issue-1

Abstract : Established in 1924, Toastmasters International (TM) is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking, presentation and leadership skills through a global network of clubs. The main goal of TM is to help people from diverse backgrounds to become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders. The objectives of this paper are to research how this NGO/NPO has achieved its success in helping individuals become more effective presenters and interlocutors and how similar approaches may be transferred to tertiary level speaking and presentation courses in Japan, with specific reference to a Woman‟s University in Tokyo. This project syncs perfectly with the UN‟s SDG goals of (number 3) Good Health and Well-Being and (number 4) Quality education, in that it may offer avenues for improved psychological well-being and education via personal and professional development.
